On Jan 3-4 2009, at the Alexandria Louisiana UKC show,  
CONTESSA aus der WALDKONIG (aka Tessa) finished her UKC Championship.  Also at this show, HERZI vom ODLAND won the
Champions class 3 out of 4 shows, so she needs just 2 more for her Grand CH title; TEMPEST vom ALT-OSTLAND won one and took
reserve the other (8 months old,  too busy being a puppy, biting my pants and sleeve this time to be a show dog :).  But the biggest news of all...
In his first show ever, VAGE vom POPPITZ completed his Championship and went BEST IN SHOW under Judge Margo Carter!  
Big congratulations to Vage and his owner Peter Betchley!
To date we have titled at least 30 INT CH, 22 UKC CH, 4 UKC Grand CH, all in the last 4 years.
At the Texas Classic, Jan 16-18 in Hutto, TX,
Tempest vom Alt-Ostland won Champion of Champions and Best of Breed 3 out of 4 shows
as well as a Group 2 and a Group 4.  She needs just one more pass for her Grand CH, and she's only 9 months old!

At theUKC Show in Huto on Feb 7-8 2009, TEMPEST finished her UKC GRAND Championship at the tender age of 9 months, and our Tiny
Terrorist UNA took a  Best Puppy in Show under Judge Paul Bruneau, and a Reserve Best Puppy in Show under Judge Fred Lanting!  PETER
vom GLEISDREIECK took Best Male and Best of Winners twice, over competition, and needs just one more competition win for his UKC
Championship. Additionally, Deacon vom Alt-Ostland went Best Male and Best of Winners twice, and needs just one more competition win for
his UKC Championship, and his sister DELTA  went Best female in 3 shows, but only had competition in the first so she needs two more for a
UKC Championship.  
At a UKC show in Jefferson TX, UNA's second show weekend, she went Best in Show under all three Judges! TEMPEST went Best of Breed, and
took a Group 1 !  PETER vom GLEISDREIECK finished his UKC Championship in style, taking Best of Winners, Best of Breed and a Group 2.  
YVETT vom SCHAFERLIESEL also took a Best of Winners, Best of Breed and  Group 1 on top of two Best Female. Her daughter   DELTA vom
ALT-OSTLAND took Best Female once and needs just one more competition win for her UKC CH.  
At the UKC show in Denton March 07, 2009, YVETT finished her Championship.  We were not able to stay for all of the weekend's shows.
At the UCI International Show, Jan 31-Feb 1, we had a great show weekend, titling 6 more dogs!  Special thanks and congratulations to Valerie
DeFee for making DELTA vom Alt-Ostland available to show, and to Rachel and Chris Smith for making DEACON vom Alt-Ostland available
to show. Both completed their International Championships with Best of Breed and Group placements.  Also shown this weekend were the boys
PETER vom GLEISDREIECK, (with top placements in the open males and very nice critiques), KLAUS vom ALT-OSTLAND, Best of Breed
and Group placements,  SISSA vom GRAFENTALopen female with no competition, and last but certainly not least was TEMPEST vom
ALT-OSTLAND-  4x Best  Puppy, 4x Group 1 and one Reserve Best in Show!  (New Photos soon!)   We're also very proud to congratulate
Peter Betchley and his new INT/UKC CH VAGE vom POPPITZ  (New Picture below right!)
On April 18th in Denton TX, at 6 months and 4 days old UNA took her first adult win with a Best Female under Judge Debra Mitchell for 25
points.  On April 25 in Jayess MS, UNA also took 2 Best Female, 2 Best of Breed and 2 Group 2's under judges Kathy Lorentzen and Karen
Shivers.  On April 26 she took Best female, Best of Breed and a Group 1 under Judge Robert Collins, finishing her Championship at only 6
months and 12 days old!  DELTA also took a Best female, Best of Breed and a Group 2 under Judge Richard "Rowdy" Yates,  finishing out the
requirements for her Conformation Championship.  She also competed in the weight pull and had a blast!
On May 2 at Hutto, TX, DEACON went Best Male x 2, with a Best of Winners, Best of Breed and Group 1 under Judge Danny Bussard,  
completing his UKC Championship in style!  Our beautiful VIVA vom ODLAND took Best Female x 2 (only one with competition), a Best of
Winners and a Best of Breed for 35 points.
On May 9-10, at the very tender age of 6 1/2 months,  UNA was entered in her first Champions class, against 4 mature adult Champions. Twice
she went Champion of Champions, Best of Breed and Group 2.  She also took one Reserve Champion of Champions.
Also on May 9-10, 2009  our boy EIK vom CLAUSBERG competed at the Summit SchH Club trial in Colorado under SV judge Gottfried Dildei.  
At 7 1/2 years old, with a VERY worn set of teeth, Eik earned his IPO3!! (Pictured below on a send-out at 7 1/2 yrs old)

On July 25/26, 2009 in Hutto, TX, VIVA vom ODLAND went Best  Female, Best of Winners  and Best of Breed twice, completing her UKC
Championship  MERLIN vom ALT-OSTLAND took three Best male (over competition) and one  Best of Breed, and needs only 15 more
points for his UKC CH.  Arko v Haus Fasold took one best male and Best of Breed.  Pictures below
On Sept 5 2009 in Hutto, TX, in her first dog show ever, 3-month old baby Ylissa vom Alt-Ostland won the BEST PUPPY IN SHOW!  
This was Henry's third baby (and the 2nd one this very year)  to win Best in Show puppy.  
Ylissa's win was immediately eclipsed  as our VIVA vom ODLAND also went  BEST in SHOW!   
Una went reserve Champion of Champions behind Viva.  Also Merlin vom Alt-Ostland finished his UKC Championship at this show.

MERLIN'S OFA RESULTS ARE FINALLY IN! HIPS GOOD, AND NORMAL ELBOWS, CARDIAC and PATELLAS !!
Since he has also proven himself in the show arena, Merlin is now available at stud to select bitches of merit.
Already he has thrown very pretty and outgoing blacks, bicolors and sables with nice stable drives and great bone .
Sunday Oct 4,  2009 in Denton Texas,  Neumann's Unke was entered in her first ever conformation show,
where she went Best Female, Best of  Winners and Best of Breed twice (over competition),  
as well as a Group 2 & Group 3!   Then, on Saturday Oct 24, Unke returned to the ring,
and again went Best Female, Best of Winners, Best of Breed and Group 2,
Thus she completed her UKC Championship in just 3 ring appearances!

On Saturday OCT 24, 2009, Unke and Opie returned to Denton for another UKC show, and Unke finished
her Championship in style, with yet another Best of Winners, Best of Breed, and a Group 2..  Opie also took
a Best of Winners, Best of Breed and a Group 2.
On November 14,  2009 in Hutto, TX, Opie vom Alt-Ostland went Best of Winners twice in a row to complete his UKC CH.
Also on Nov 14-15 2009, Feliz vom Alt-Ostland went Best Female (over competition) 3 times.  She just needs 15 more points to CH.
Salina von der Eichendorfschule took the class once and now has 55 points and one pass toward her UKC CH.
On Nov 21-22 2009, at Conroe TX, Neumann's Unke earned her
International Championship with very good critiques.  
Merlin vom Alt-Ostland completed his International Championship in style,
taking Best of Breed, Group One, and  Reserve Best in Show all 3 shows.

At our final show of the year for 2009, we went again to Hutto for the Bluebonnet All-Breed UKC show .  Feliz vom Alt-Ostland
completed her UKC CH in the first show.  Neumann's Unke won the Champions class and Una vom Alt-Ostland took Reserve
Champion of Champions in three of  the four shows, and Feliz won the other one.  Photos coming soon.
